We are launching the first ever B2B sales community in Philadelphia and excited to kick off our group with a talk on the "Buyer's Journey". What exactly is the buyer's journey though and why does everyone keep taking about it? It's because buyers are more informed than ever before and the old ways of selling are fast becoming outdated. We need a new game in sales if we going to win new business.

Our speaker Kate Feather (https://www.linkedin.com/in/katefeather) has learned the buyer's journey and has studied it intensely in her work over the past decade. She is going to share some of the insights she has learned in her research and in her own sales efforts. In turn, we will learn how sales reps and sales leaders can adapt to succeed in this new environment with practical tips and advice to position ourselves as the trusted advisor and the go to resource for our customers.

ABOUT KATE

Kate is Executive Vice President of PeopleMetrics where she leads Marketing and Sales. It is fair to say that Kate is "customer-obsessed" and well versed in the buyer's journey and has over 20 years of experience in organizational and customer research and consulting.

Kate joined PeopleMetrics in 2005 to lead the Client Success group. In her time in this role, she helped clients devise strategies and tactics to capture the hearts and minds of their customers and employees—what she considers the sole route to competitive advantage in the 21st century.

Kate has held research, consulting, and leadership positions in both the UK and US. Kate has a Master of Science degree in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (with Honors) in Psychology from Durham University in the UK.

Members are also interested in
