Join us for the 7th Philadelphia Hardware Meetup! Come join us to hear from our guest speakers as well as share what’s on your desk. We always have time for an open mic.
Hardware Meetups happen across 30+ cities monthly and help bring together different professionals to connect and meet each other.

We have a great set of guest speakers
- Aidan Hyde is a specialist in Industrial Design and Human Factors. He currently manages Industrial Design and Human Factors projects at Archimedic, a medical device development consulting firm based in West Chester, PA. His work with both local and international companies has contributed to the successful launch of many safe and intuitive products, including home healthcare devices, surgical instruments, drug delivery systems, diagnostic devices, and cardiac assist implants. Aidan has also contributed to the bioengineering programs at the University of Pennsylvania and West Chester University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
- Det Ansinn is a serial entrepreneur with a strong hands-on engineering background and a proven track record of building teams and businesses that deliver innovative emerging technology products/solutions. He is the President and Founder of BrickSimple, a development studio that creates products and helps clients leverage emerging and cutting-edge technologies, and CEO of Neuralert, a startup that offers a groundbreaking method of detecting stroke symptoms in hospitalized patients using novel wearable technology.
- Jason Kroh is the CTO of Strados Labs, a Medtech company focused on early detection and prevention of respiratory disease and infection. Jason leads the team of software, electrical, mechanical, and system engineers who launched the world’s first FDA 510k cleared wireless lung sound platform technology. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, and has held leadership roles with several Medtech companies over the course of his career.
Agenda
- 5:00-5:30pm: Arrive, mingle, grab some food and a beverage
- 5:30-5:45pm: Opening remarks
- 5:45-7:00pm: Guest Speakers + Q&A with the audience
- 7:00-7:30pm: Open Mic. Anyone in attendance can give a demo or short presentation on their hardware product, startup, or project.
- 7:30-8:00pm: Mix, mingle, and close out the night.
