Join us for the 11th Philadelphia Hardware Meetup! Come join us to hear from our guest speakers as well as share what’s on your desk. We always have time for an open mic.

Hardware Meetups happen across 30+ cities monthly and help bring together different professionals to connect and meet each other.

- Joshua Freedman, Co-Founder and CEO of Airalux Medical. Airalux is developing a therapeutic spirometer that addresses the workflow and adherence shortcomings of the current antiquated standard of care. He leads clinical collaborations and fundraising for Airalux and is currently a fellow of the UCity Science Center Founder Fellowship. Joshua has Bachelor’s (C'2023) and Master’s (C'2024) degrees in Biongineering from the University of Pennsylvania with minors in computer science and engineering entrepreneurship.
- Rodrigo M. Forti, Ph.D., is a Research Associate in the Division of Neurology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He received his doctorate in physics from the University of Campinas in 2020. His research is focused on the development of novel non-invasive neuromonitoring tools to ascertain mechanisms of neurological injury. Forti is an expert in the development of diffuse optical methods. He is currently developing a Neurometabolic Optical Monitor - a new diffuse optical technology capable of detecting cerebral physiological impairments in children.

- 8:00-8:30pm: Mix, mingle, and close out the night.
