Monster of the Week

Monster of the Week is inspired by tv shows like The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scooby Doo, and Eureka. Players create characters from archetypes like The Gumshoe ,The Chosen, and The Spooky, working together to identify and take down the titular "monster of the week". The system is easy to learn and rewards players for thinking creatively and collaboratively.

The game is low on rules, high on storytelling, and doesn't take itself seriously. We'll be playing in a coffee shop / cocktail lounge and taking up their seats for a few hours, so please be prepared to thank the venue by buying drinks throughout the evening.

Content warnings include anything that might show up in a made-for-tv horror film.
