Jukebox: The Karaoke Musical Roleplaying Game

Details
We promised Philly One Shots would offer a variety of unique RPG experiences, and it's time to deliver!
Jukebox is an RPG in which players construct a complete musical (with a Playbill!) through karaoke. If you're unfamiliar with the idea, a "jukebox" musical features original characters and plot, but uses popular music that already exists. Think Moulin Rouge and Mamma Mia.
For the game, players arrive with a setlist of six songs they want to sing at karaoke night. They collaborate to create the setting, characters, and motivations that will drive the plot, then take turns drawing songs at random from their setlist to find out what their character sings next. Players collaboratively interpret those songs in the context of the show to build out the story over three acts.
This game is very easy in that it has very simple guiding rules. It calls for some small amount of roleplaying, but more than anything, it calls for singing your heart out at karaoke with strangers. This is definitely a game for the theater kids out there.
Note: If you want to exclusively sing duets with a friend, please take only 1 RSVP. The game allows for two people to play characters that are inextricably linked, like Statler and Waldorf, or more literally, CatDog. If you want to bring a friend who doesn't have a Meetup account, you can add a Guest to your RSVP and you'll take up 2 distinct slots.
