The Skeletons

The Skeletons is a unique RPG not about the heroes of a tale, but of the monsters cursed to spend eternity defending a single room in a sprawling dungeon. The skeletons begin the game with no knowledge about who they were when they were alive, but they have millennia to think about it, and nowhere to go.

The game alternates between the skeletons working together to fend off intruders, then falling back into inanimate darkness as time passes. Through gameplay, they begin to piece together the stories of their own lives and how they came to this fate.

The Skeletons is described as melancholy, introspective, and "unlike anything you've ever played"
