Fiasco RPG: Heroes of Pinnacle City

Pinnacle City, a bustling hub of heroism, villainy, news stories, and back-room bargains, is on the brink of chaos from aliens, mad inventors, dimensional doppelgängers, or worse. You might play a hero trying for normalcy while protecting the city, an official trying to corral the damned heroes into heroism instead of block-burning, a misunderstood villain with her finger on the button, or an ordinary citizen caught in the middle of it all. The world’s ending again—any chance the characters can quit bickering and handle it this time? Let’s find out!

Fiasco is a rules-light, storytelling-heavy TTRPG inspired by movies of “small-time capers gone disastrously wrong, particularly films like Blood Simple, Fargo, and Burn After Reading,” wherein you play people high on ambition and low on impulse control. The game helps players co-create relationships, scenes, and stories in which things will go awry—especially, perhaps, for your character. Host will provide some light refreshment TBD. Feel free to bring any snacks or drinks your heroic (or villainous) heart desires.
