Raccoon Ridge, Coppermine AT Loop (moderate/difficult)

See the views from Kittatinny Mountain after this climb up the Coppermine Trail near the Delaware Water Gap. This hike has mountaintop views, streams, waterfalls, an old copper mine and lots of rocks,

Meet up at 9:30am in the AMC trailhead parking lot along Camp Mohican Road right outside Camp Mohican (code for Google Maps: 2XMW+7C Hardwick Township, New Jersey). Make sure to arrive on time as once we start the hike I will not be able to check my phone. Please note we are not starting from the usual trailhead along Old Mine Road. Old Mine Road Is Closed.

This hike is a difficult 7+ mile loop with around 1300 feet of elevation gain. The climb can be strenuous at points and the trail is very rocky. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear for the trail. As always make sure to bring water and some extra calories.
