Raccoon Ridge, Coppermine AT Loop (moderate/difficult)

See the views from Kittatinny Mountain after this climb up the Coppermine Trail near the Delaware Water Gap. This hike has mountaintop views, streams, waterfalls, an old copper mine and lots of rocks,

Meet up at 10:00am in the Pahaquarry Copper Mines trail parking lot along Old Mine Road in the Delaware Water Gap National Rec. Area/Worthington State Forest. Make sure to arrive on time as once we start the hike I will not be able to check my phone.

This hike is a moderately difficult 7+ mile loop with around 1300 feet of elevation gain. The climb can be strenuous at points and the trail is quite rocky for long stretches. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear for the trail. As always make sure to bring water and some extra calories. Be prepared to hike into the early afternoon.
