Knife Edge, Bears Rocks, Bake Oven, Out and Back on the AT (Difficult)

Details
Scramble along the spine of the Blue Mountain for some of the best views around!
This is a Rocksylvania Hike with Toe biters, Ankle turners, and "vampire rocks, hip rocks and jumping rocks" according to thru hiker Woodrow Murphy.
Will clamber over the "Knife Edge" a 200 yard long knife-edge section of quartzite that will require some dexterity. Gaze at the irregular boulders of Bears Rocks ranging in size from refrigerators to tractor trailers and than onward to Bake oven knob summit a rocky overlook with views to the north and south as we enjoy our trail delicacies with turkey vultures soaring above looking for a tasty morsel.
This hike is a moderate to difficult 10 mile out-and-back along the Appalachian Trail along the Blue Mountain summit.
The trail along this stretch of the Blue Mountain is very rocky and the hike will involve numerous boulder scrambles, While there is no sustained strenuous climbing, all elevation gain will be from climbing over rocks.
The amount of rock scrambling can make this difficult to traverse.
Make sure you have appropriate footwear with a good tread for the rocks.
Bring plenty of water and small lunch to consume as we energize at Bake Oven Knob before heading back over the way we came.
There are no facilities other than a well placed tree.
Please no Pets.
Will cancel for unpleasant weather.
