Baldpate Mountain loop (easy/moderate)

Details
Even though the season will be getting colder we'll still be hiking. This hike will take us up and over Baldpate Mountain through the Ted Stiles Preserve of Mercer County, NJ. A preserved natural space in central NJ with scenic overlooks of the Delaware Valley around historic Washington's Crossing. 1800 acres of forest and meadow await. And, just a stone's throw away from eclectic New Hope and Lambertville.
This will be a 7 mile jaunt up and over the hill, and then up and over the hill again. This is an easier to moderate hike. There are some ups and downs. Be prepared to hike 7 miles. The trail is rougher in places. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water and some extra calories for the day. We will break around the halfway mark.
Meet up at 9am at the Washington Crossing Park parking lot off Bear Tavern Road. Make sure to arrive in time to start. Once we start on the hike I will not be able to check my phone.
