Heart to Art: Community Dialogue and Art Unveiling with Harris DeSales
Details
Friends,
You've been invited... come support Harris in his artistic journey, at the Philadelphia Free Library - Kingsessing branch. Celebrating Black HIStory Month
This event is more than just an unveiling piece of artwork. It’s an opportunity to use art and our experiences to connect.
Harris De Sales, a Southwest Philly born, raised, and based artist, will be sharing his latest work, “Crack Babies; Crack Vow” as well as the story and inspiration behind its creation.
After the piece is unveiled, the audience will be invited to share their thoughts and feelings. It will be a moment to discuss the connections between art and life, and the emotions that shape both.
The event will conclude with curator Tahir Williams facilitating a Q&A for anyone interested in learning about Harris' life and art.
Light refreshments provided.
