Patterns used in learning are generally simplified to ensure participant understanding and a smooth classroom flow. They are essentially a special type of prototype patterns. Patterns that can service production-grade concerns are generally more sophisticated to accommodate production challenges.
This session articulates a foundational CI/CD pattern that can be the starting point to service many common production requirements. It works for GitOps, but is also adaptable to any CI/CD scenarios that share the needs.
Here are some of the scenarios: Dedicated Tenancy, Geographical Tenancy for Data Sovereignty, Multi-GEO Tenancy for Performance, Multi-Cloud Tenancy, Separation of Ops Governance, Customer Extensible Software, Customer Owned Deployment Environment
