Hilton DoubleTree Lancaster + Strasburg Railroad

Join me for a relaxed Lancaster getaway at the Hilton DoubleTree Lancaster from December 22–24, with our main meetup on Monday, December 23rd.

I will be arriving the evening of the 22nd and checking out on the 24th. The plan is to enjoy a mix of trains, travel talk, and good food using Hilton benefits and resort credits.

### Schedule Overview – Monday, December 23

Morning – Breakfast at the Hilton Doubletree
We will meet in the hotel restaurant in the morning for breakfast, conversation, and trip planning for the day. This is a great time to talk travel, miles and points, casinos, or anything else you are working on.

Afternoon – Strasburg Railroad Visit
After breakfast, we will drive over to Strasburg Railroad for an afternoon visit. We can ride the train, explore the area, and enjoy the historic railroad atmosphere together. Optionally, ride a Christmas-themed train with Santa.

Later Afternoon – Exploring Lancaster
Depending on interest and timing, we can optionally explore other nearby spots in the Lancaster area after Strasburg. This could include local shops, scenic stops, or additional casual activities decided by the group.

Evening – Dinner at the Hilton Doubletree
We will return to the Hilton Doubletree for dinner at the hotel restaurant. I will be using Hilton benefits and Hilton Aspire resort credits toward the meal, and we can enjoy a relaxed dinner together to wrap up the day.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and tickets or purchases at Strasburg Railroad and elsewhere. You are welcome to join for any part of the day, whether that is just breakfast, only the train, dinner, or the full itinerary.

Hilton Aspire offers a $200 resort credit twice per year, and the Lancaster DoubleTree qualifies. My room rate was about $150, so there's room for food credits.
