Hunting for Gems: Coding Challenges For Treasure Hunters 🏴☠️
Details
What's this? You've found a map that looks like it leads to buried treasure! 👀
But wait... There's something off about this map. It looks as if someone has torn it in half.
There's no telling where the path leads. You flip it over and in crude handwriting, you make out an address scribbled along with a note:
"709 N 2nd St — Only the bravest will embark on this journey to find the rare ruby"
Will you brave the unknown to discover the hidden treasure? You'll need the other half of the map to begin, and there's only one place to go…
Join devs from PHL Code Club & Philly.rb at the Indy Hall Clubhouse for a programming adventure that will shiver your timbers and reward your coding skills.
How it works 📜
You and a teammate will work together to solve a series of coding challenges (We will randomly pair attendees to encourage collaboration with new faces)
Each challenge you solve will reveal a trail of “gems” that lead you to a secret treasure hidden at Indy Hall.
If you're familiar with Advent of Code, this will feel familiar. For those who are new, we’ll help you get started!
You'll need to leave your agentic coding swarm at home for this one. The spirit of the challenge is solving the problems through collaboration and grit!
What gems will you uncover, matey?
