"Ludwig Wittgenstein - Language Games"

We swim in an ocean of them and barely notice their existence, yet use their form to help get our needs met, manipulate situations, express deep emotions and desire, form sophisticated treaties and constitutions, and sometimes weave deeply expressive art and literature that touches out deepest being, ...... yet largely take them for granted.

In this discussion we will be exploring and discussing some of Ludwig Wittgenstein's work around language, Wittgenstein has been touted as the most influential philosopher in the Modern age, though only produced two works, the "Tractatus Logico Philosophicus" which he claimed after he wrote it to have solved all of philosophies questions. He then disappeared from academic life to lead a fairly solitary life for many years, then returning to Academic life in Cambridge to teach and write "Philosophical Investigations" which was posthumously published.

Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein was an Austro-British philosopher who worked primarily in logic, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. Ludwig Wittgenstein was profoundly obsessed with clarity, precision, and the limits of language, aiming to solve philosophical problems by analyzing how language misrepresents reality.
