Talking sticks and social walk: About happiness

Talking sticks and social walk: About happiness

Details

Free event. Talking sticks is a practice consisting of having a stick that represents the right to speak.

In a circle, the person who holds the sticks speaks and nobody is allowed to interrupt. This creates conditions for best quality listening, especially when a tribe is debating serious matters. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_stick)

You may prepare what you may wish to share on the theme of happiness - a one two two minutes speech is a good format - or simply attend and take part as it goes along.

We will gather for a one hour talking sticks session in the park, after which we will walk about in Hampstead Heath, as social walking groups do, and have great conversation on the topic of happiness... or anything else! I will tell one or two stories related with the theme indeed...
