Let's talk one more time about the philosophy of linguistics, so that others can join the conversation. We've been working on the following questions, but I'd like for you to add to them, and bring some notes to share.

5. How do words mean anything at all? -- What is the relationship between a word, the concept it expresses, and the thing it refers to?

7. What is the relationship between language and truth? --Is truth a property of sentences, propositions, or something else?
