From his Garden in Athens Epicurus developed a philosophy of life, empowering his students to seek happiness and speculating on the nature of the universe. Yet Epicurus was maligned by some of his peers and over the centuries became (incorrectly) associated with mere pleasure seeking.

This is not a lecture, debate club, therapy group, or religious study. It’s an informal, open discussion centered on original source material, curiosity, and respectful listening.
We'll provide discussion prompts and share useful links to source material for anyone interested, but showing up is enough.
