Hi Folks,
Welcome to our Freud reading group. This group will be facilitated by myself and other graduate students studying this material.
It is welcome to all, even if you've never read Freud or any other psychology. However for this group we require attendees to read the paper(s) in advance in order to attend. It's ok if you didn't fully comprehend them, but please at least make an attempt to read them. We can then help clarify things for everyone during the event. For this event we will discuss a selection of readings on dreams from The Freud Reader by Peter Gay. This includes a selection from Freud's "The Interpretation of Dreams" and from Freud's "On Dreams". The readings are available here:

For this event, Part 2, please read pages 16 to 46 in the PDF this is the section on "On Dreams".
For a fun exercise please also bring along a dream you've had that you can share with the group for analysis.
