A study conducted by John B. Calhoun in the late 1960s and early 1970s to investigate the effects of overcrowding and social breakdown on a mouse population. Despite being provided with abundant resources and a seemingly perfect environment, the mouse population experienced a catastrophic collapse due to behavioral changes.
