What does it mean to live a good life?

What makes life worth living? What things are good or bad in them-selves? Are values subjective or objective? What is the relation of values to morality? What is the valuable life, the good or happy life? Before reading any further, make a list of your values. What things do you consider good or desirable?

Do we desire the Good because it is good, or is the Good because we desire it? The objectivist holds that values are worthy of desire whether or not anyone desires them; they are somehow independent of us.
The subjectivist holds, to the contrary, that values are dependent on desirers, are relative to desirers. The classic objectivist view on values
