Hey everyone!

In this meetup, we will chat about something we do all the time, but rarely explicitly critique - the process of thinking.

Since it is intimately related to one's psyche, the process in itself might be completely unique for each of us. This makes it an interesting setting to collectively ruminate upon our own method, and learn about others as well.

We will use the following questions as a rough guide:

0. What words would you choose to describe thought in-itself, separate from the process of thinking.
1. Do you think your thoughts are separate from the self?
2. How does thinking "feel" like? Is it free of emotion?
3. Is thinking different from memory (recall)?
4. Do you think fast, or slow? Both? Can you switch between the two states at will?
5. Is it possible for you to stop thinking entirely, being free of thoughts?
6. Would you say that it is valuable? Does it have any harms?

thought-provoking age is that we are still not thinking." - Heidegger
