Hi everyone!

All of us know time, right?

That, which is measured in the clocks that tick.
That, which is running ahead taking us with it,
That, which divides what has happened and hasn't yet,
That, which flows on its own beyond our control,
That, which makes us old,
That, which we can't touch nor smell,
That, which makes change or is change in itself?

Do we really know what this word is all about?

In this meeting, we will discuss time from various perspectives. This includes the concept of time in the physical sciences (Newtonian to Einstein), time as a subtle psychological sense, time as an economical commodity, as a fundamental element of change and suffering etc.

I hope you have the time to attend :)

Random quote on time
“What is time? A mystery – insubstantial and almighty. A prerequisite of the world of appearances, a motion, coupled and mingled with the being of bodies in space and their movement. But would there be no time, if there were no motion? No motion if no time? Just ask! Is time a function of space? Or the other way around? Or are both identical? Go ahead, ask!” - Thomas Mann in The Magic Mountain
