Poetry night

Hi everyone :))

Now that Nordic chill and its famed darkness is upon us, it is a fit time for a contemplative poetry night.

In this event, each one of us will bring a single poem that we would like to share with others.

What kind of poems can you bring?

The poem can be self-written, or from your favourite author. For now, we will restrict the length of the poem to 2 pages, and its language to English. There is no restriction on style.

How does the event proceed?

After a light chat, we will split into groups of 4/5 people, taking turns to recite our poem to the group, and then interpret/appreciate it together.

Why poems?

A poem is an interesting literary form. It can curate a special setting where one breaks free of the usual restrictions placed by language. Helping us into imaginative, creative spaces not accessable through prose.

What do I need to bring?

A poem, a smile, an ear, and an open mind.
