For this iteration of the Philosophy of Life Sciences Reading Group, we will explore the relationship between technology and feminism through Helen Hester’s Xenofeminism, focusing specifically on the first chapter.

Xenofeminism (XF) is a technomaterialist, anti-naturalist, and gender-abolitionist form of feminism. With it provocative motto "If nature is unjust, change nature!", XF reimagines feminism within the accelerationist/prometheanist wave. Should we embrace technology and depart from nature to achieve emancipation?

Anyone from any background is welcome! If you’d like the pdf or to ask any question feel free to drop me a message. Please don’t worry too much about the RSVP list: we usually have 5-10 people attending already.

Doors open at 12:00, the discussion will start at 12:30pm.
