This meet-up is a relaxed space to explore how we connect in relationships.

We’ll look at attachment styles in a simple, practical way and how they can influence communication, closeness, and boundaries. (I had an anxious attachment style in my hometown [Virginia, USA], and in Vietnam I shifted into an avoidant attachment style)

Expect great conversations, new insights, and a space where you can reflect and learn at your own pace.

Discussion Questions

1. When you start liking someone, what’s your first instinct: move closer, pull back, or stay steady?
2. When communication drops (late replies, distance), what story does your mind create?
3. How do you usually respond to conflict: lean in, shut down, or try to smooth things over?
4. What feels more uncomfortable: too much closeness or too much distance?

5. How easy is it for you to express your needs directly in a relationship?
6. When someone gets emotionally close to you, what do you feel in your body?
7. What patterns do you notice repeating across your past relationships?
8. What would a “secure” version of you do differently in those same situations?
9. What is one small shift you can practice to feel more grounded and open in relationships?
