No tree can survive in a forest alone. Sometimes, survival becomes the sole goal of our lives. Our focus goes into just making it through the day. In times like these, we lean on existing bonds - family, friends, pets, and home. But we know that this is not our purpose. We aren't meant to spin endlessly in the karmic wheel. Connection can lift us out. We can connect to survive - but we can also connect to flourish. How do we do that? In this Philosophy Salon, we will look at different bonds we form as biological beings but also as souls and minds. What is their role? Why do these bonds make collectives so powerful? Can that power get us out of the survival cycle? And what lies beyond?
