No tree can survive in a forest alone. Sometimes, survival becomes the sole goal of our lives - our focus shifts just to making it through the day. In times like these, we can lean on existing bonds - family, home, pets, and friends. We all know, though, that survival is not our purpose. Our lot is not to spin endlessly in the karmic wheel. Connection can lift us out - we can connect to flourish. How do we do that? In this Philosophy Salon, we will look at different bonds we form as biological beings but also as souls and minds. What is their role? Why do these bonds make collectives so powerful? Can that power get us out of the survival cycle? And what lies beyond?
