Philosophy and Therapy Meetup #6: Philosophy of Storytelling

Details

We will continue our discussion of philosophy and therapy, focusing on one topic in greater detail. New attendees are welcome, and no familiarity with last week's discussion will be presupposed. The topic for this session will be the philosophy of storytelling. The presenter for this session writes: "The discussion will touch upon the concept of the self as a narrative identity and go deeper into how language and narrative shapes our fundamental perception of reality."

** Please note: if you are a new attendee, the group organizer (John) will reach out to confirm and provide information about directions to our classroom and suggested readings for the discussion. Please be sure to confirm directly with the organizer before showing up, as our space is limited. (If you've attended one of our previous meetups, this is not necessary: please RSVP but no need to confirm with John directly).**

This should be of interest to anyone interested in philosophy, therapy, and their intersection. Please feel free to message the group organizer with any questions. Hope you can make it.
