Writing a song is one of the most remarkable things a person can do. You begin with something that doesn't exist—a thought, a phrase, a melody, a rhythm, a feeling—and turn it into something that can be heard, shared, remembered, and experienced by someone else.

Maybe you've been writing songs for decades. Maybe you've just written your first. Maybe you're excited about Suno. Maybe you think it's the worst thing that's ever happened to music. Either way, pull up a chair.

Suno For Songwriting
For this first chapter of PhillySUNOLab, we're welcoming people who already write songs or compose music, whether you're experienced or just beginning. You don't need professional credentials, a recording studio, or technical expertise with Suno.

You do need a willingness to bring your own musical ideas, experiment, listen generously, and share what you discover. Bring your unfinished song. Bring your curiosity. Bring your willingness to be surprised.

How It Works
Our meetings are built around three things:
RAW IDEA —what you uploaded to Suno
PROMPT —instructions you gave Suno
RESULTS —the Suno interpretation

Together, we'll listen, compare approaches, exchange prompts, solve musical problems, and discover new possibilities. This isn't a competition to see who can generate the most spectacular recording. It's a chance to learn from one another and become more imaginative, adventurous, and discerning songwriters.

The more we share, the better we all get.
We're gathering our first community of Philadelphia songwriters now. We haven't settled on a meeting place or time yet, but we'd love to know you're interested.
