Details

Teaching older refugees basic reading and English in order to take the US Citizenship test to become a US citizen. There are 3 levels of English classes which are:

Pre-literate English - Basic English skills.
High beginners - More advanced English
Civics/Citizenship class - Studying for the citizenship test which explains how the US governs itself.

Classes are 10 weeks long, that meets twice a week for 2 hours per-day.
No experience necessary, the Area Agency on Aging/Elder Refugee Program will train you.

Interview
Application
Finger Prints
Observe 2 classes
Assigned to a site
