Special Event — Workuity Center For AI Excellence partner event, hosted with the Cracked Claude Cowork and Codex Club
AI will build you a website in an afternoon. The problem is that it builds everyone the same one. This evening is about the part that fixes that: the design vocabulary that makes your prompts land, and the system files that hold a model to your look instead of its defaults.
This is a technical session, run by the Cracked Claude Cowork and Codex Club, with guest speakers Tyler Welker and Raj Shah. Tyler is Director of Digital Marketing at Sunridge Hotel Group. Raj is a senior product designer who works across Fortune 500 and B2B SaaS, AI and ML, and AI-native design workflows.
What they cover:
- The UX, UI and front-end terms worth knowing, so you can tell a model what you actually want.
- Visual design basics.
- How to write design system and skill files that keep the output from turning into AI slop.
- A hands-on exercise: run Codex against Figma through the MCP, then compare what everyone got.
The night follows the club's usual shape. It opens with demos of the most impressive projects from the past month and the new best practices behind them. Then an AI-assisted group discussion and friendly debate, this month on the question "Should We Slow Down AI?", using an app the club built for itself. Then the guest speakers and their demo. Then open networking.
The Cracked Claude Cowork and Codex Club is run by Jon Schack and the team at automationinterns.com, a growing group of ASU engineering grads and top students embedded in local Phoenix businesses. Workuity hosts it at 24th & Camelback as a Center For AI Excellence partner event. It runs monthly on first Tuesdays, in person and online, and it is free.
Anyone is welcome, though the discussion assumes you are already comfortable with Claude, Codex, Gemini or Grok. Bring your laptop, and bring a site or a screen you would like to stop apologizing for.
