Presentation on Genetic Algorithm: An Algorithm Inspired by Evolution

Genetic Algorithms are a type of algorithm where the algorithm is designed to solve the problem by simulating the evolution process. This is by defining what the most fit solution is and by finding and discarding candidates on each run of the algorithm until a best solution candidate is found.

The first hour of this event will be composed of a short presentation introducing and explaining the algorithm followed by a demo of the algorithm at work. Attendees are encouraged to discuss and ask questions throughout the presentation.

The last half hour of the event is for open discussion and for members to chat and exchange ideas or talk about the computing industry or their personal projects.
