Welcome to Diabetics of the Desert! Super excited to meet everyone and get to know you a little better.

🏆 Diabetics of the Desert: 3-Month Glucose Management Contest! 🏆
Are you ready to make 2025 your healthiest year yet? Join our Diabetics of the Desert contest to improve glucose management and A1C while having some fun! This friendly competition runs February 1 through April 30, with winners announced the first weekend of May.
🎉 Contest Launch Event Details:
📅 Friday, January 31
🕔 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM MST
📍Hybrid; Diabetics of the Desert HQ and on Zoom

During this kickoff event, we’ll go over the contest rules, point system, deadlines, and prizes. Bring your questions! If you can’t attend, you can still participate by submitting:
- Your $10 buy-in
- Your first glucose logs or CGM data
💡 How It Works:
• Track and submit your glucose logs or CGM data weekly.
• Earn points for participation, improvement, and consistency.
• Compete for cash prizes or diabetes-friendly rewards!
🏅 Prizes for the Top 3 Winners:
• 1st Place: 50% of the prize pool
• 2nd Place: 30% of the prize pool
• 3rd Place: 20% of the prize pool
All participants who complete the challenge will receive a special thank-you gift!
📩 How to Join:
Missed the event? No problem! Send your $10 buy-in and first set of glucose logs by February 7 to get started. Submission details will be provided at the event or upon request.
