2021 NORWAY HIKING ITINERARY

September 7, 2021(T), 2PM: Depart from Kiruna, Sweden (KRN)
September 7, 2021(T), 540PPM: Arrive in Oslo, Norway (OSL)
September 17, 2020(W) 1110AM: Depart from Oslo, Norway (OSL)

11 Days/10 Nights: 9 Days of Hiking
Norway has “Right to Roam” laws pertaining to camping and an excellent hut system. So the camping is free and you can camp almost anywhere. We will use both but mostly camping.
We will use a rental car/vehicle. Size depending if we have the full four people.
Car/vehicle rental and gas will be split evenly between participants.
Norway is very expensive so I plan on taking my food for Norway and storing it in Kiruna, Sweden along with extra clothes, trail books, trail notes, maps…
We will use the list below for our itinerary, they are all day hikes. I plan on eliminating a few from the list then using then as back-ups. I want to be ambitious and would like to do a hike from the list every one of the eight days.
I will email an attachment of the Norway Hiking Itinerary to each participant. It’s too lengthy for posting. The attachment has more detail and other useful links.
Make sure you are prepared for Norway weather, the trails, camping in Norway’s weather (mountains, fjords)… It can rain, snow, rain more, winds, cold…
