HICKORY CREEK BACKPACK

The weather is finally looking good so let's go backpacking. I plan to hike the Hickory Creek Wilderness Trail in Allegheny National Forest.

We will hike the loop clockwise and will have to cross Coon Run. With all of the rain this might be a boots off crossing so please be prepared. We will camp at the next creek, Jacks Run on Saturday night. The next day we will complete the loop back to our cars.

I plan on arriving Friday night and camp at Hearts Content Campground. There are a few sites you can reserve but most are first come, first serve. Let me know in the comments if you plan to arrive Friday night or Saturday morning.
