Hi our friends. Thank you for visiting our page. We have a new Zoom password: 426646

We’re starting a bi-monthly webinar-style meetup, which summarizes the contents of Karma Lab, Purpose-Driven Lab, and Happiness Lab which we have hosted in the previous week. And this lecture will be recorded (I’ll explain about this more later).
We use this style for the first time since we started this group. The participants can raise questions in the chat box. The host and the speaker will answer those questions as long as time allows.
We have many groups. That’s why it’s a bit difficult to update the event description every week. But in each event we discuss different topics. If you join this lecture, you’ll have the opportunity to catch up with most of the topics we have covered recently.

  • In our karma Lab, we discuss the law of karma that Buddha taught. It’s the mechanism of how our future unfolds. Karma sounds very mysterious but actually it’s more scientific than mysterious.
  • In our Purpose-Driven Lab, we focus on one of the most important concepts in Buddhism, “the real purpose of life.” What were we born for? What is it that we want to achieve in this life? Why is human life so precious? These are the most profound philosophical questions, which no philosophers have ever offered a clear answer yet.
  • In our Happiness Lab, we talk about important practices to achieve happiness. Also the difference between authentic happiness and ordinary happiness.

It is important to take a wholistic approach in learning Buddhism. This type of one-stop service will be a great opportunity especially for those busy people.
So here’s something important. This lecture will be recorded and later uploaded to our YouTube channel (or it will be live-streaming on YouTube in the future) so that one has an easier access to our Dharma talk.
Once this new style takes off, we will make our YouTube channel public.
At the beginning we were thinking of using a webinar format. But as of now, it’s not possible.
The difference between this event and our ordinary meeting is:

  1. No ice-breaking and no chit chat at the beginning.
  2. Questions are only taken through the chat box.
  3. The participants are requested to mute their microphone the whole time.

We may change this rule in the near future.
