Designers Social Hour (Unlikely Mashups)

Welcome back, designers!

What do you get when you put a video game designer and an interior designer together? Or a UX designer and a landscape designer? You figure it out.

At our next meetup, we encourage you to bring a blank sketchbook and chat with a designer whose field you’ve never encountered before. We’ll have plenty of hangout time as always, and a sketching session for you to come up with a scene, product or plan that incorporates both of your fields. (Of course, there are no wrong answers here.) The idea is to find those unlikely ways that our fields overlap and explore what we can invent there.

Come and hang out, relax, and build community by getting to know your fellow Phoenix creatives. The structure is casual, so come as you are. All design-related professions and experience levels are welcome - UX, architecture, interiors, fashion, games, industrial, and more. Come prepared to share your specialty, your design drive & passion, and perhaps learn something from others that surprises you. If you haven't attended our meetups before, we'd be delighted for you to join us at this next one.

So we have an accurate headcount and reserve plenty of space for everyone, please RSVP only if you intend to come to this event. This meetup group will not cover the cost of food/drinks at the venue. If needed, instructions on where to find the group will be shared on the day of the event.
