Designers Social Hour (Unpopular Opinions)

Welcome back, designers!

One of the best parts of this group is we each bring different points of view to design, sometimes in ways that don't perfectly line up. So let's lean into it! What's an unpopular opinion you have about your design field? Does brutalism get a bad rap? Are we too reliant on digital-first experiences when it comes to product? Did Don Norman get something wrong? Pick your claim and have fun with it. The ways that we split from the norm might reveal surprising ways that we align with each other across disciplines - or give each other friendly beef. Either way, it's all in good fun.

Come and hang out, relax, and build community by getting to know your fellow Phoenix creatives. The structure is casual, so come as you are. All design-related professions and experience levels are welcome - UX, architecture, interiors, fashion, product, educational, games, industrial, and more. Come prepared to share your specialty, your design drive & passion, and perhaps learn something from others that surprises you. If you haven't attended our meetups before, we'd be delighted for you to join us at this next one.

So we have an accurate headcount and reserve plenty of space for everyone, please RSVP only if you intend to come to this event. This meetup group will not cover the cost of food/drinks at the venue. If needed, instructions on where to find the group will be shared on the day of the event.
