Designers Social Hour (Find a Bug)

Welcome back, designers!

Bring your sketchbooks and top-notch discernment skills. Each of us are uniquely skilled at spotting "bugs", friction points, or improvement opportunities everywhere we go. So what happens when we each use this skill from a different angle in real-time? What's one thing in the immediate environment around our table that you would "fix" or redesign?

Describe it in your sketchbook and lean into your discipline. The industrial designer might find a wobbly table leg, the sound designer might hear a distracting appliance, the lighting designer might see an over-lit corner, the graphic designer might find the signage unclear, or the fashion designer might watch employees fussing often with their uniforms. You get the idea. There's no points for polish here - it's a laid-back exploration of what we might redesign to make every part of the environment better for everyone.

Come and hang out, relax, and build community by getting to know your fellow Phoenix creatives. The structure is casual, so come as you are. All design-related professions and experience levels are welcome - UX, architecture, interiors, fashion, product, educational, gaming, industrial, and more. Come prepared to share your specialty, your design drive & passion, and perhaps learn something from others that surprises you. If you haven't attended our meetups before, we'd be delighted for you to join us at this next one.
