Welcome back, designers!
Most things, at the end of the day, can be seen as some form of a design problem if you look hard enough. Where have you seen a design problem recently that many others would miss?
Dig into news stations or blogs for inspiration. For example, an interior designer may not have realized that a certain arrangement of chairs might etch troublesome streaks in the floor. An architect might have designed unique crevices into her building that local wildlife attempt to turn into their homes. A UX designer may have intended to create a hyper-secure app, but the login sequence takes far more time than any real action on the app itself. Think large or small!
All attendees will have the opportunity to join the Phoenix Designers Network, a free platform only available to in-person attendees of our events. You'll have access to pages regarding jobs & careers, coworking, critique, business growth, inspiration, other Valley events, casual get-togethers, and more offline community-building fun. Come and hang out, relax, and build community by getting to know your fellow Phoenix creatives. The structure is casual, so come as you are. All design-related professions and experience levels are welcome - UX, architecture, interiors, fashion, product, educational, gaming, industrial, and more. Come prepared to share your specialty, your design drive & passion, and perhaps learn something from others that surprises you. If you haven't attended our meetups before, we'd be delighted for you to join us at this next one.
So we have an accurate headcount and reserve plenty of space for everyone, please RSVP only if you intend to come to this event. This meetup group will not cover the cost of food/drinks at the venue. If needed, instructions on where to find the group will be shared on the day of the event.
