Escape Room Meetup: Bam Kazam! Micro Escape Room Facility (Scottsdale)

Join us Saturday, July 12 at Bam Kazam at 3:15 pm to challenge yourself physically and mentally in the escape room-adjacent experience of Bam Kazam! (and celebrate the eve of my 39th birthday)!

Think of it as a facility with dozens of micro escape rooms. Figure out the challenges and progress to the next stage (like a video game), or fail a lot (like a video game). It's a bizarre, unique take on escape rooms. :)

The experience with our team will start at 3:30 pm, but please be 15 minutes early to check-in, sign waivers, meet your teammates, etc.! Our time slot is 2 hours long. We will be finishing a game prior to this at North Valley Escape Room (approx. 40 mins away), so it might be close to 3:30 pm before some members of the team make it.

About the room:
You and your friends are on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure: a commercial flight into space! You've always dreamed of exploring the final frontier and seeing the stars up close. But as your journey begins, things start to go wrong. Suddenly, you find yourselves in a life-or-death situation, with an alien threat lurking in space tracking your every movement... will you be able to begin your journey, or are your lives in danger?

Thankfully, you're aboard the Intrepid Explorer, a state-of-the-art spacecraft equipped with all the high-tech machines and gadgets you've studied for years. But will your knowledge be enough to overcome the challenges you'll face in the depths of space? You'll need to work together, solve puzzles, and think creatively power-up the ship, and survive the alien threat.

And if anything goes wrong? Well, you do have a teleportation device on board...but can you trust it to get you back home safely? The clock is ticking, and the fate of your crew and the entire mission rests in your hands. Can you rise to the challenge and become the hero of your own space adventure?

This experience includes loud noises and flashing lights. Anyone who is sensitive to either of these should not play, as they cannot be adjusted in this game.

Important details:

1. We will book the spots for this room, so no planning needed!
2. This is a prepaid event, so you must pay me in advance via PayPal (@chuckaroni) or Venmo (@chuckkaplansmith). This fee includes the room charge and any applicable taxes.
3. Please arrive at the listed time. This is scheduled 15 mins ahead of the room time so that everyone can arrive, check in and sign waivers if applicable.
4. Depending on demand, we may add additional rooms, so if you don't see a spot left, please let us know!
5. No shows or last minute cancellations after the booking has been paid for will not receive refunds due to the non-refundable nature of the escape room businesses. Let us know if your plans have changed and we can attempt to find a replacement for you, but there is no guarantee.
6. If there is a cancellation/rescheduling of the event, you WILL receive refunds.
