Let's Ride a Loop in Scottsdale

Let's ride a loop in Scottsdale.
We will meet in the parking lot just west of Crust in Scottsdale at the Mercado del Lago shopping area.
We will start out riding northeast on the Scottsdale Greenbelt. About 2 miles later we will reach the Pima Pathway and we will turn south. After about another two miles we will reach the AZ Canal where we will turn west, We will follow the AZ Canal Path past the golf course, through a neighborhood until we reach Downtown Scottsdale. There we will shift to the south side of the canal path at the intersection of Scottsdale Rd & Camelback. Following the AZ Canal a short distance through and past Downtown Scottsdale we will come to an intersection and the Cross Cut Canal. We will turn south on the Cross Cut Canal and follow it all the way south to Tempe Town Lake.
Heading east along the north bank of Tempe Town lake we will come to the connection that leads us back to the Scottsdale Greenbelt, The Scottsdale Greenbelt will take us back to the parking lot by Crust.
Total distance should be about 20 miles and about 2 hours of riding time.
