Join the Phoenix Inclusive Birding Club for a morning of fall migration birding at Hassayampa River Preserve! This riparian preserve is a fall migration hotspot and offers a great chance to see a variety of resident and migrating species.
We’ll walk approximately 1 mile on mostly flat terrain. Trails are a mix of gravel, dirt, and sandy surfaces. Most sections are firm/hard-packed, with some occasional softer sandy areas. We’ll take our time and bird at a relaxed pace.

Meet: At the entrance to the Visitor Center

Cost: $5 per person, paid directly to Maricopa County Parks when we arrive

Amenities: Restrooms and drinking water are available at the Visitor Center

Recommended: Sunscreen, bug spray, and comfortable walking shoes. Closed-toe shoes are recommended since this park has a few areas with fire ants.

All experience levels are welcome, come enjoy a beautiful morning of birding during fall migration!
