Winter at Gilbert Riparian Preserve

Join us for our Winter visit to the Gilbert Riparian Preserve!

This is a relaxed bird outing is designed for all experience levels. We’ll begin at the Dino Dig / Dragonfly Ramada, gently venture our way toward the back ponds, moving at a flexible pace based on the group’s interests.

• Hard-packed gravel surfaces throughout
• Approximately 1.2–1.8 miles total, with plenty of stopping
• Restrooms available at the start and about halfway through
• Extra binoculars and monoculars will be available to borrow
• Don't forget to bring water and wear comfortable clothes with sun protection.
