The Vue Framework by Joe Fleming

Vue.js, with the introduction of version 2.0, is a hot new frontend framework that saw a lot of attention in 2016, and it's only picking up steam coming into the new year. Vue sits in a sweet spot between Angular and React, borrowing some of the best parts of both and combining them into a very small, very fast, and very easy to learn package. As an added bonus, the Vue ecosystem features an optional router and optional state library that are maintained side by side with Vue itself.

In this talk, I'll be showing how to get started with Vue with a little live coding example. Then I'll introduce a simple, powerful Webpack workflow for writing components and building applications. You'll get a crash course in vue, vue-router, and if time permits, we'll dive into vuex, a state manager for Vue, as well.
