Stage V of Royal Canal Way

I am writing to provide news of our next walk. Please note that it has been necessary to CHANGE the walk AND the date. Instead of the Port to Port (WD) Walk on Sunday, 17 October; we will do the next stage of the Royal Canal Saturday 16 October. I apologize for these changes, however, the earlier date clashed with the Dublin event to mark the UN Day for the Eradication of Poverty; this takes place at 11AM on Sunday 17 at the Famine Memorial on Dublin's Custom House Quay.

The walk on Saturday October 16 is also to be our attempt at a Low Carbon event. We will try to get to and from Mullingar by train.
Details:
Name: Stage V of the Royal Canal (Race to find an Effective Vaccine Walk).
Meeting: Meet at Connolly Station Dublin at 08.50 for train to Mullingar at 09.05.
Or - meet at Maynooth Station at 09.25 for train to Mullingar at 09.37.
Distance: If we reach the final target for the day 25 Kms. Alternatively, we can end at Ballynacarrigy and this will involve a walk of 17 Kms. This can be decided on the day and different individuals may choose different options.
