Stage Fifteen Daniel O'Connell Monument Dublin to Fr Matthew Statue Cork.
Details
Hi,
Though my notice period is very short, I am happy to be re-activating the connection between The Phoenix One World Traipsers and Meetup.
The attached photo is from the first walk of The Phoenix One World Traipser's 2025/2026 Season. We did the first stage of the Dublin Mountain Walk from Tallaght.
We hope to do the next section (Stage Fifteen) of our walk from Daniel O'Connell's Statue in Dublin to Fr Matthew's in Cork. Though this stage will be over two days, anyone interested is welcome to do either the Saturday, October 18, or Sunday, October 19. Stage Fifteen will take us from Clogheen in Co. Tipperary to Mountain Barracks in Co. Cork.
For Saturday: Clogheen to Crow Hill (14 Kms.).
Depart Heuston Station at 09.30 for transport to Clogheen or Clogheen at 12.30 ready to walk.
Very poor forecast. Have rainwear and change of clothing.
Also have any food requirements.
Sunday: Crow Hill to Mountain Barracks (16 Kms.).
Depart Crow Hill 12.00 ready to walk (approx and to be confirmed with participants).
Better forecast and may be dry throughout. However, bring rainwear.
Also have food requirements.
PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO: *phoenixoneworldtraipsers@hotmail.com* or CALL/TEXT 087 2523467 IF INTERESTED OR IF FURTHER DETAILS REQUIRED. Enquiries/registratiom up to 19.00 on Friday 17. Transport arrangements can then be make.
THAT'S AS MUCH INFORMATION AS CAN BE GIVEN AT THIS TIME.
