Prescott NF's Serene Goldwater Lake 🌲🌲🌲Hike (6,150') - 5.75M, 625'AG, 3?Hrs

Its getting hot 🥵in here, so lets escape up north, hi above 6,000', where the air is cool 'n fresh. We'll be strolling mostly in the🌲trees, under massive canopies of ponderosa pine, alligator juniper and oak provide cooling shade as the route winds above the lakes and across the boulder-flanked raven and crisp waters of Bannon Creek. Flora, fauna, bald eagles, hawks, song birds and ducks should be plentiful!
On our way back, we'll drop down to the lake's shore and enjoy a fun and peaceful walk on the 'beach'.

🚘Take I-17 north. Exit 262 for AZ-69N toward Prescott. After 34 miles, merge onto E Gurley St. In 0.7M, turn ⬅️left onto S Mt Vernon Ave (becomes Senator Hwy). After 4 miles, Watershed TH is on your ⬅️left

We'll meet @ 610 and start strolling at 615 sharp.
